All-on-6 Dental Implants in Turkey: Elyes’s Three-Visit Review and Real Invoices

Elyes, from Wolverhampton. He was nervous about dentists for years, and he says that’s “probably why I got into the mess I did in the first place”. By the time he came to us he had 16 teeth left, receding gums, gaps and decay along the gum line. He heard about us from a couple he met on holiday who’d had the same work done here and “looked brilliant”. Over three visits to Antalya between March 2025 and January 2026, all 16 teeth came out and he got six dental implants in each jaw with a fixed set of 24 crowns on top: the setup usually called All-on-6. He paid £9,695.93 in total.

  • Treatment time: just under 11 months across three visits

Elyes’s Own Review

Elyes recorded this at our clinic on his third visit. The line most nervous patients will want to hear comes at about 1:40.

“I’ll be honest, I had more pain having one tooth taken out in the UK than throughout the whole process.”

The Starting Point

The panoramic X-ray from the morning of 10 March 2025 shows the whole picture. The lower back teeth were already gone on both sides, and so were several upper ones. About ten teeth were left on top and six on the bottom, and the photos show what state they were in: gums pulled back from the teeth, dark decay at the gum line, gaps opening between the front teeth.

The plan was to remove all 16 and replace them with fixed teeth on implants.

Four panoramic X-rays: 16 failing teeth in March 2025, healed jaws in June 2025, 12 integrated implants in January 2026, and 24 metal-porcelain crowns fitted on the implants

How Many Trips to Turkey Does All-on-6 Take?

For Elyes, three. Each one waited for the body to finish a job:

  1. Extractions first. The sockets need to heal and the gums need to settle before implants go in. His second X-ray, on 30 June 2025, shows both jaws healed and clear.
  2. Implants next. Dental implants have to fuse with the bone before they can carry a full set of teeth. His were given seven months, from June to January.
  3. Permanent teeth last. The final crowns were made once the January X-ray confirmed all 12 implants were solid.

Not every All-on-6 case takes three trips. Some can be done in two. Your own X-ray decides it, which is why we plan from one before you book flights.

What Did He Wear Between Visits?

People ask us this about every full-mouth case, and Elyes’s first bill answers it: alongside the 16 extractions it lists an upper and a lower denture. Those were his teeth for the healing months, until the fixed ones went in.

The Treatment, Visit by Visit

Visit One, March 2025: 16 Extractions and Two Dentures

On 10 March, after the X-ray and consultation, all 16 teeth were removed: ten from the upper jaw and six from the lower. The tooth extractions and the surgical stages that followed were led by Özkan Özkaynak, D.D.S., Ph.D., our oral surgeon.

Elyes is open about how anxious he was. “The team here at Smile Dental were quite aware that I was very nervous about having any kind of dental work,” he says. “When they treat you with compassion and they explain everything, talk you through the whole process, it really does put your mind at ease.”

Visit Two, June 2025: Sinus Lift, Bone Graft and 12 Implants

On 30 June, with the jaws healed, Dr Özkaynak placed 12 Neodent® (Straumann Group) dental implants, six in each jaw, each with its abutment. In the upper jaw the bone under the sinus needed more height before an implant could go in, so that side also had a sinus lift with a small bone graft in the same appointment.

Then he went home with his dentures and let the implants integrate.

Visit Three, January 2026: 24 Crowns on 12 Implants

The X-ray on 26 January 2026 showed all 12 implants integrated. Over that visit Yekta Özsoy, D.D.S. fitted 24 metal-porcelain crowns, 12 on each jaw, joined into one fixed bridge per jaw on the six implants beneath it. That is the All-on-6 setup: a full arch of fixed teeth carried by six implants.

He chose shade 1M1 in our Natural Style shape. The final X-ray, taken on 30 January, shows both bridges seated on all 12 implants.

The Result

All-on-6 before and after from three angles: gum recession, gaps and decay in March 2025, and full arches of metal-porcelain crowns on implants in January 2026

Smile before and after All-on-6 dental implants, with crowns in shade 1M1 and Natural Style shape

“Really love my new teeth, really love my new smile, and the confidence that it’s going to give me,” Elyes says. And, from someone who avoided dentists for years: “Every time, it’s actually nice to come to a dentist. I never thought I’d be saying that ever, but here we are.”

Materials Used

  • Dental implants: 12 Neodent® (Straumann Group), all with abutments: 6 upper, 6 lower
  • Crowns: 24 metal-porcelain crowns, joined as one fixed bridge per jaw
  • Shade: 1M1, Natural Style shape
  • Bone work: 1 sinus lift and a bone graft, upper jaw
  • Healing-phase teeth: upper and lower dentures

Metal-porcelain is the most affordable crown material we offer, with a metal core under the porcelain. If you are pricing the same plan in zirconium, which has no metal and lets more light through, the 24 crowns would cost about £1,030 more at our current cash prices.

What It Cost

These figures come from Elyes’s signed treatment plans. The 2025 visits were billed at 2025 prices, so a couple of lines are lower than they are today: a simple extraction is now £42 list.

Against UK Private Fees

On our prices page we put a single dental implant at £2,000 to £2,500 in a UK private practice, and on our dental crowns page a metal-porcelain crown at £600 to £900. At the bottom of those ranges, 12 implants and 24 crowns come to £38,400. That is before 16 extractions, two dentures and a sinus lift.

Elyes paid £9,695.93 for all of it, hotel included: around £28,700 less. Three return flights from the Midlands don’t come close to that gap.

Warranty and Aftercare

The dental implant screws carry our lifetime guarantee: if one fails, we replace it once, free of charge. The crowns on the implants carry our 5-year cover: a 1-year “No Worries” warranty, which includes travel costs for an approved revision visit within 365 days, followed by a 4-year workmanship guarantee.

The conditions are the same for every patient: a yearly check-up with a panoramic X-ray and professional cleaning, and following the aftercare plan. Elyes put it his own way: “You don’t get chucked out the door after they’re finished. You get all the follow-up care as well.”
