The Health Tourism Certificate is a mandatory government licence issued only to clinics that meet the Ministry of Health’s strict standards for international patient care: clinical hygiene, patient rights, staff qualifications, sterility protocols, and — critically — the legal validity of treatment guarantees.

Without this certificate, a clinic’s warranty has no legal standing after you return home. It is simply a verbal commitment with no enforcement mechanism. With it, your treatment guarantee becomes a formally recognised, government-backed commitment — enforceable under Turkish health tourism law.

When evaluating any clinic in Turkey, this is the first credential to ask for. Many clinics advertise guarantees; far fewer can back them with this certificate.

Turkish Dental Association (TDB) — Accredited Member

Issued by: Türk Diş Hekimleri Birliği (TDB) — Turkish Dental Association

Why it matters for international patients: The TDB is the national professional body governing all licensed dentists and dental clinics in Turkey. Accredited membership confirms that every dentist practising at our clinic holds a valid, registered licence to practise dentistry in Turkey, and that our clinic operates within the professional and ethical standards set nationally.

This is the Turkish equivalent of being registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) in the UK, or the American Dental Association (ADA) in the USA. Any dentist legally practising in Turkey must be registered with the TDB. Our membership is active and current.
