We’ve structured our warranty in two parts: our ‘No Worries’ Warranty to cover the logistics of a return visit, and our Treatment Warranty to cover the quality and longevity of your dental work. Here’s how we protect your smile, every step of the way.

The ‘No Worries’ Warranty: We Cover Your Return Trip

This is our commitment to removing the financial stress of a return visit. If you need to return to Turkey for a revision (as approved by our dental team), the ‘No Worries’ Warranty has you covered.

If a revision is deemed necessary as a direct result of the original treatment within the first 365 days, Smile Dental Turkey will pay for:

Your flights: We will purchase your round-trip economy airfare (up to 200 GBP/EUR/USD).
Your hotel: We will provide accommodation for up to 6 nights at a hotel chosen by us.
Your transfers: We will cover your ground transportation between the airport, hotel, and clinic.

This warranty is our promise that you will never be left stranded. It is designed to cover the patient’s travel and is valid for one return visit, ensuring your primary concern is your health, not your wallet.

Key condition: This warranty is valid when our dental team confirms via email that a revision is required due to the original treatment, not patient negligence such as smoking or ignoring post-op instructions.

The Treatment Warranty: Our Guarantee of Quality

We are confident in the materials we use and the skills of our specialists. Our Treatment Warranty covers the dental work itself, giving you long-term assurance. Here is a breakdown of our treatment guarantees:

5-Year Guarantee: Dental Crowns, Full-Porcelain Veneers, Dental Bridges & Implant Crowns
2-Year Guarantee: Laminate Veneers, Lumineers, Onlays & Composite Restorations

A Note on Implants & Crowns

Dental implants: The implant screw itself is guaranteed for life against fracturing. In the rare event of an implant failure (a 5% global average), we will replace it once, free of charge.

Dental crowns and dental veneers (except laminate veneers) are guaranteed against breaks, chips, or cement failure for 4 years. If you need a minor repair (such as re-cementing), we’ll even contribute up to €100 for you to have it fixed at a local dentist in your home country for convenience.

A beautiful, lasting smile is a partnership between our expert dentists and your dedicated home care. To ensure the best possible results and keep your guarantee active, it’s essential to follow these guidelines — our complete aftercare guide explains what to do after each treatment and what support you get once you fly home. Your guarantee will be invalidated if any of the following circumstances occur:

Yearly check-ups are missed: The patient does not have a routine dental check-up, including a panoramic X-ray and a scale and polish, at least once a year (an invoice is required for proof).
Oral hygiene is neglected: The long-term success of your treatment depends on diligent home care.
Post-op instructions are ignored: This includes (but is not limited to) not taking prescriptions as directed, smoking against medical advice, or not wearing a provided gum shield or night guard.
Unauthorised treatment is performed: Subsequent treatment (with the exception of a standard scale and polish) is carried out by another dentist without our prior authorisation.
Treatment plan is not completed: The patient fails to return to complete their dental treatment (such as implant crowns or bridges after extraction) within 12 months of their last consent form, or fails to attend any scheduled appointments.
Physical trauma or accidents: Damage resulting from accidents, contact sports, or other traumas is not covered.
Patient non-disclosure: The patient fails to disclose their full medical history at the time of treatment, including:
- Being under 18 years of age.
- Being pregnant.
- The use of any recreational or prescribed drugs.
- Any medical conditions that could affect treatment (e.g. conditions affecting blood pressure, or excessive grinding/bruxism).
Major lifestyle changes: This can include substantial weight gain or loss, which may affect the fit and function of dental restorations.

Our Commitment to Transparency (What No Guarantee Can Cover)

In dentistry, some procedures involve biological factors that are simply unpredictable. To be fully transparent, our guarantee does not cover:

Root canal treatment: The success of this treatment can depend on the tooth’s individual biological response.
Preparation trauma: Occasionally, a tooth suffers trauma during the preparation for a crown or bridge, which may result in the need for a root canal. This is an unpredictable risk of the procedure and is not covered.
Dental posts: These are used on weak, previously damaged teeth, and their long-term stability cannot be guaranteed.
Treatment started elsewhere: We cannot guarantee any work that was started or performed by another clinic before you came to us.

A Final, Important Clarification: ‘No Worries’ vs. Treatment Guarantee

This is a key distinction. These two warranties cover different things.

The ‘No Worries’ Warranty is our travel policy. It covers your flight, hotel, and transfers for one approved revision visit, but only within the first 365 days after your treatment.
The Treatment Guarantee is our dental work policy. It covers the material and longevity of the work itself (e.g. 5 years for a crown, lifetime for an implant screw).

If you need a revision in Year 3 for a 5-year guaranteed crown, the new crown itself is covered by the Treatment Guarantee, but your travel and accommodation costs are not. The ‘No Worries’ travel coverage applies only to that first year.
