Sheridan Adams, from Scotland. She had lost most of her back teeth, and nothing she found at home was affordable for the work she needed. Her husband did extensive research on clinics in Turkey before they made a single enquiry. “They didn’t reach out to us,” she says. “We searched them.” Her treatment ran over three visits to Antalya between January and August 2026: four extractions, then nine dental implants, then a full set of zirconium crowns on both jaws. She paid £7,282.53 in total.

Sheridan’s Own Review
Sheridan recorded this on her last day in Antalya. In about three minutes she talks through all three trips, including the parts she found uncomfortable.
The Starting Point
Sheridan’s first panoramic X-ray was taken on the morning of 26 January 2026. It showed the whole problem at once. The back teeth were gone in all four quadrants, so every bite landed on the front teeth. In the lower jaw only the front teeth were left, plus an old metal bridge on the left. The upper right premolar had an old root canal treatment with a post, and the upper left molar carried a large filling.
The photos showed what that looked like day to day: a wide gap between the two upper front teeth, a front tooth that had turned grey, and heavy staining and tartar along the lower front teeth.
Why It Took Three Visits
Sheridan was told on day one that this could not be done in one trip, and it is worth knowing why before you book one.
Teeth that are being replaced come out first, and the sockets need time to heal. Dental implants then need three to six months to fuse with the jawbone before they can carry any load. A clinic that fits permanent teeth on fresh implants in the same week is skipping that step. So the plan was three stages: extractions in January, implants in April, crowns in August.
Her own front teeth were kept and crowned. Implants went in only where teeth were missing at the back.
The Treatment, Visit by Visit
Visit One, January 2026: Consultation and Four Extractions
On 26 January, after the X-ray and the consultation, four teeth were removed: two in the upper jaw and two in the lower. “More uncomfortable than painful” is how Sheridan describes it. She came back two days later for further X-rays and a full explanation of the next stages, then flew home to heal.
Visit Two, April 2026: Nine Dental Implants
On 22 April, our oral surgeon Özkan Özkaynak placed nine Neodent® dental implants: two on each side of the upper jaw, and three on the right and two on the left of the lower jaw. The X-ray the next morning, 23 April, confirmed all nine were in position.
Sheridan says Uğur Gültekinler checked throughout that she wasn’t in pain, and that once the anaesthetic wore off it was “discomfort, not pain.” “The hotel caters for people that are getting dental treatment done,” she says, “so the food was all very palatable.”
Then she went home again. The implants needed the summer to integrate.
Visit Three, August 2026: 24 Zirconium Crowns
By the end of August all nine implants had integrated. Over this visit, which finished on 31 August, Uğur Gültekinler fitted 24 zirconium porcelain units, 12 upper and 12 lower. At the back of both jaws they form bridges on the implants. At the front they are dental crowns on her own prepared teeth. The upper left molar was left as it was.
The shade chosen was A1 in our Softened Style shape. She also went home with a night guard.
The Result
Asked what the clinic could do better, Sheridan said she couldn’t name anything. What she did say is that it has made “a massive difference” to her comfort. She has back teeth again on both sides of both jaws.

Against UK Private Fees
Sheridan didn’t get a single quote in Scotland, because nothing she found was within reach. So here is the comparison on our own published figures. On our dental treatment prices page we put a single dental implant at £2,000 to £2,500 in the UK and a zirconium crown at around £700. At the low end of those ranges, nine implants and 24 crowns come to about £34,800, before any extractions.
She paid £7,282.53, around £27,500 less. Three sets of return flights from Scotland don’t come close to that gap.

The conditions are the same for every patient: a yearly check-up with a panoramic X-ray and professional cleaning, and following the aftercare plan. Wearing the night guard is part of that plan: it protects the zirconium from grinding at night.
