The 2-Phase Treatment Timeline & Visual Progression
A successful full-mouth reconstruction requires clinical patience. We used a 2-visit approach, allowing the jawbone to fully integrate with the titanium dental Implants before bearing the weight of the final bite.
⚙️ Phase 1: Clearance & Dental Implants (July 2025)
The initial visit focused on removing the compromised teeth and establishing the new foundation.
- Extractions: A total of 8 failing teeth were safely extracted (4 upper, 4 lower) to clear the arches.
- Dental Implant Placement: Surgical lead Özkan Özkaynak, D.D.S., Ph.D., strategically placed 6 Neodent (Straumann Group) dental Implants in the upper jaw and 6 Neodent dental Implants in the lower jaw. As seen in the post-operative X-ray, these 12 titanium roots were perfectly engineered into the jawbone to act as her new foundation.
- Immediate Function: To ensure the patient never had to go without a smile, we provided fixed temporary dentures to wear while the bone healed.
🌟 Phase 2: The Final Dental Crowns (January 2026)
After allowing six months for the dental Implants to fully fuse with the jawbone (osseointegration), L.P.H. returned for her final restorations.
- The Final Dental Crowns: Restorative lead Yekta Özsoy, D.D.S., designed and permanently anchored 14 metal-porcelain dental crowns to the upper arch and 14 metal-porcelain dental crowns to the lower arch. The final X-ray beautifully illustrates the complete 28-tooth arch securely seated on top of the 12 integrated dental Implants.
- The Aesthetics: The clinical before-and-after photos show a jaw-dropping transformation. The patient desired a bright but authentic look, so she selected the stunning OM3 shade and opted for a Natural Style with softened canines, ensuring the final result looked beautifully feminine and completely natural.
